2024 OGPCA STATE MEET

On behalf of the Oklahoma Girls Powerlifting Coaches Association, we would like to welcome the state qualifiers and their coaches to the 7th Annual Girls State Powerlifting Meet hosted by Caddo High School. 

When: Monday, March 4, 2024 with lifting to begin at 9:00 a.m.

Where: Choctaw Event Center, 3702 Choctaw Rd, Durant, OK 74701

Weigh-in: Early weigh-in will be on Sunday, March 3rd from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

We will also have a weigh-in the morning of March 4th from 6:30 am to 8:00 am.

Cost: $125 per team with 5 or more lifers; $100 per team with 4 and less lifters.

High School and Junior High are two separate teams. 

Meeting: A coaches meeting will be held at 8:30 am 

Junior High Division: We will award the top 5 in each weight class.

Team Trophies will be given to the State Champion and the Runner-Up. 

Eligible participants must have qualified at the regional meet.

Team trophies will be given to the State Champion and runner up for Large and Small School. 

Small School is 2A and Below

Large School is 3A and Above

(Classifications are based on Basketball ADMs)

Weight Classes: The classes follow the OGPCA bylaws and are as follows: 

High School Division:

108 - 121 - 136 - 150 - 165 - 181 - 198 - 220 - HWT

Junior High Division:

97 - 108 – 121 – 136 – 150 – 165 – 181 – HWT

There is a 3-pound allowance at the state meet. Lifters 3.0 over and less their weight class are good for competition.

A pre-weigh in will be allowed on Sunday, March 3rd AT THE HOST SITE ONLY from 3:00 to 6:00.

We will also have a weigh-in the morning of March 4th from 6:00 am to 8:00 am.

Coaches will be issued wristbands at the coaches meeting before lifting begins.

Only coaches will be allowed on the floor.

At least one coach must be a member of the Oklahoma Girls Powerlifting Coaches Association.
